October is here, bringing cooler mornings, changing leaves, football weekends, and that unmistakable feeling that fall has officially arrived. It’s one of my favorite times of year—and also a good reminder of how quickly the calendar moves as we head toward the holidays and the end of another year.

As life gets busier with school, activities, travel, and holiday plans starting to take shape, October is a great time for a quick financial and insurance check-in. A little planning now can go a long way toward helping you feel prepared for what’s ahead.

Since 2010, I have proudly served as a State Farm Agent in Denver, NC. In November 2023, I was honored to expand our reach with the opening of a second office in Boone, NC. I have had the privilege of serving as President of the Denver Lake Norman Rotary Club and currently serve on the Board of the Lincoln County Coalition Against Child Abuse. I am also actively involved with SafeKids Lincoln County and serve as an Ambassador for the Blowing Rock Chamber of Commerce as well as Co-Chair the Blowing Rock Referral Team. Most recently I completed the Blowing Rock Leadership Challenge.
